Infused Dried Fruits
We sweeten fresh or IQF fruits with sugar syrup or apple juice concentrate, after that, dry them at low temperature in specially designed ovens to preserve color, texture, and nutrients.
The purpose of infusion is to sweeten the fruits as well as to make them soft as ready to eat sun-dried fruits. Besides, the products are microbiologically protected due to low water activity by infusion.
Our product range includes cherry, sour cherry, strawberry, peach, pomegranate, apple, apricot, raspberry, quince, oranges, figs, lemons, pears and so on that are cultivated in Turkey.
Applications
Infused fruits can be used as the biscuit, chocolate, bread and cake ingredients in bread industry and biscuit (chopped fruits, apples, quinces, etc.) for direct consumption (sour cherries, strawberries, sweet cherries, etc.) as snacks.
Fruits can be infused using sugar syrup or fruit juice concentrate. Organic infusion is done by using organic fruit juice concentrates.
Packaging Options
Depending on customers’ request, it is packaged in 5 kg or 10 kg cardboard boxes with food grade PE poly- liners inside.
Other packaging requests are welcomed.
